Francis and his two sons, Matthieu and Eric, live in Normandy and work in the same factory. One day, Francis is sacked for smoking on the premises. Matthieu, disgusted by such unfairness, tries to make management change its mind. He then tries to mobilise the factory's workers and his brother in particular. All in vain. Shortly afterwards, Francis dies suddenly. Matthieu, convinced that his father committed suicide, has only one thing on his mind: revenge...
