Charlotte is safe but Bruno slips through Léo's fingers by throwing himself off a cliff into the sea. In Mistral, everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief. Léo is reinstated in the police force and Frémont is conditionally released. Charlotte's disappearance has helped to bring William and Ninon closer together. Ninon decides to give William a second chance and the two make a fresh start.
